Kim Kardashian‘s personal life isn’t as public as it might seem.

The reality star served as the keynote speaker during the BlogHer 16 conference in Los Angeles on Friday, revealing intimate details of her life that many don’t see when the cameras and social media aren’t around. Speaking to BlogHer co-founder and SheKnows Media’s Chief Community Officer Elisa Camahort Page, Kardashian also shared thoughts on her status as a feminist, how she responds to negative attention and her increased passion for social justice issues.

Nothing was off limits for Kim, who offered quite a bit of insight into a myriad of topics. And yes, she also reveals when North and Saint West will be allowed to have their very own Instagram accounts. We’ve gathered her most fascinating quotes below:

On raising her children outside of the spotlight: “I definitely am really protective of my life with the kids. You might see them on [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] a little bit, but not real stories about them… We just don’t make stories—Kourtney and I don’t makes stories really around our children. They’ll be there but if anything that’s a benefit because we get to spend more time with them.”

On rumors that giving birth to Saint was a publicity stunt: “So truly, I was not posting about my son because I wanted him to be able to go to the park every single day like a normal human being and nobody knows who he is… He’s eight months old now, and people thought he didn’t exist. People thought I had a whole fake baby and I made this whole thing up because I wasn’t posting about it. And to me, that’s so ridiculous.”

On what she’s learned from Kanye West: “We do have a really private relationship. He’s very private even though he’s in the business and I’m very open, so he’s really taught me how to become a little bit more private and I’ve taught him about how to be a little bit more open. It really works for us. So I definitely save that part of my home life and my life with my kids I try to hold on to.”
